Grooming Assistant $14-$18 per hour
tips (with weekly tips, the average hourly rate is $17.
75-$23 per hour) We prefer an Experienced Dog Grooming Assistant/Bather and will pay up to $18 per hour
tips based on experience (proficiency with ability to dremel nails is a huge plus and will command a higher pay!) We will consider training the right candidate without previous experience and this would start at $14-$15 per hour
tips, depending on qualifications We also prefer a candidate who would like to pursue a career as a professional pet stylist under our training, mentorship, and guidance in holistic grooming Requirements Must be 18 years old or older Able to lift up to 40 lbs Able to maintain stamina, and physically able to bend, squat, and kneel Calm yet confident energy/personality Reliable and dependable - prefers to be early rather than late Understands that personal cell phone use is not allowed on the clock Easily notices details and can follow instructions easily Able to communicate in a kind and professional manner Able to work responsibly independently and also able to work cohesively with a team Commitment to the highest standards in cleanliness Able to connect with dogs and communicate with them using kindness and compassion Understands that jewelry and any unsafe piercings such as piercings of the face are not suitable for working with animals due to safety reasons and injuries that could occur
